Once upon a spring time

I had all this lovely paper from Graphic 45 and a box and lots of  "I want to do something with them both".... so this is what I came up with.  Just a few of the pictures..do not want to bore you.

I used Graphic 45's Once Upon a Springtime collection and added lots of Prima flowers and lots of tulle.    Thank you for looking.

Young Grasshopper

It is so amazing what a simple thing like a grasshopper does to a child's attention.  Every time Ethan and Logan visit, they are chasing grasshoppers.  I would love to say that I was smart enough to have a camera ready, but for this picture, a big Thank You goes to their Mom and Dad.   I love the focus that my Grandson (Ethan) has in this picture.  So intrigued!.  You should see them with worms..lol

I used Imaginise paper line called Apple Cider, Changing Leaves and Cinnamon Sticks.   I layerd the pages over each other.  The flower is made from some miscellaneous paper flower I have.  I glued them together and placed a jewel in the center.  Then I layered it over some feathers I have and placed them all on a piece of burlap.  I love the texture.

Snow Buddies

Using Bo Bunny's Midnight Frost paper line

Here I used Stickles to highlight this corner and then used a glazed pen to outline the snowflake.  I also put one of the rubon's in the middle of the snowflake.

This is one of Bo Bunny's crocheted flowers with Teresa Collins bling in the middle and I used the glazed pen to highlight the snowflake.

Super Stars

I used the Websters' Pages Hollywood Vogue's Vellum by layering on another page and then layered on top of the Vellum.

here is a close up showing the Stickles' Patina I used on the tail of the Peacock. I also used Tattered Angles' Deep Purple glimmer mist.

Here you can see the Grunge Board by Tim Holtz that I used as a frame, which I cut out using the BigKick. Then I used Tim Holtz's Dusty Concord Distressed Ink.

this show some of the layering.

Cherish Family

This photo is the most cherished photo of My son and his family.  This picture was taken by a stranger while they were in the park.  I want to thank that person.  They, who ever they were, did an awesome job.

Grandchildren

You get to a point one day that you finaly realize where you are in life.  Today was that day.   Our twin Grandson's were here for a few days visiting.  We had such a grand time.  They played, ran, rode bikes, played with sticks, moo'ed at the cows next door and watched lots of cartoons.

Logan and Ethan spent quality time with Grandpa in Grandpa's shop playing with his putting green, mess'in around with tools, watching video's and getting in Grandpa's way while he worked on his 71 Camero.   Memories worth millions!!

Grandma listened to them giggle, talk to each other and at times whisper..big secrets between brothers.  I am so amazed at how well these two get along.  Their parents are doing an awesome job raising them.

Then they left...it was so abrupt...the instant quiet.  That is when it hit me.  I am a Grandma now and there will be lots of these moments.  Missing them badly, then I  have them to hug and kiss on and then the quite that follows when the leave.

I can't wait for them to visit again!!

Kindergarden

The first of many pictures to come.  Kindergarden, a passage all children go through.   This is when they really start growing and before I know it, they will graduate from high school.
