New toy

I totally took advantage of Cyber Monday...bought a new Kodak camera.  26 x zoom and 15 pixel.   I should be able to take much better pictures now.   A dear friend, Cheri Piles, is going to teach me the ins and outs and make sure I have the proper set up at home.   I am so excited!!!  I love new toys!!

Winter is Beautiful

The moment I saw this paper line from Bo Bunny, I was in love.  This is by far the biggest project I have done and I am a bit over whelmed by it.  The colors and pattern are awesome. In addition to the Bo Bunny paper, I used Tim Holtz Destress Ink Stormy Sky, Teresa Collins' Jessie Jewels, Tattered Angles Moomlight glimmer mist, Stickles' Crystal and Patina glitter, 7 gypsies chrome cable rings and Cosmo Crickets black chipboad.  Now, all that is missing are the pictures.  I wonder who I will give this to?

It's cold outside!!

I love winter pictures.  They can bring up lot's of emotions.   The sheer beauty is amazing

The paper line is from DCWV's Christmas pack I got last year.  I used Tim Holtz Destressed dye called Stormy Sky and the pearl accents are from Prima and I used Stickles "Icicle" on the snowflakes.  The ribbons are some misc ones I have.

Learning

I learn each day I sit with Cheri Piles.   First, her amazing willingness to teach.  Next, her amazing mind and how it works.   I know what I want to see sometimes but not how to get there.  Through her eyes I can see.   I am so blessed to have a friend so close to me that I can visit easily and learn.  I laugh at myself a lot.  I make some silly mistakes and rather than get frustrated, I laugh.   Like Cheri says"it's all good" and yes, she is good.

Charlie

Our first snow fall came today.  I have clove and cinnamon scents burning and the fire place is going.   Bird feeder is full and the birds just realized it... fun to watch them all challenge each other for a perch on the feeder.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner..tummy is already anticipating the goodies. I am a bit sad that I will not get to see our Son and his family.   They live 5 hours away and in the winter, it is just to far to drive and do it safely.  I have to do something about getting them set up on Skype, that would make all the difference. 

Trikes to bikes

It is so much fun watching the Twins grow and learn new things.  I can remember when the trikes were such a scary thing and they lacked coordination.  Pushing a pedal was such a weird concept to them.  Good thing Grandpa is so willing and enjoys teaching things with them.  Next up:  cars...lolololololol.  Paper line:  DCWV, Amber Autumn

Visit

My twin Grand Sons are visiting.  I can not wait to see what I come up with on the pictures I took.  We made "belated" Holloween cookies and had fun doing them.   Then..they took off on their bikes 'without training wheels' .   Whooo Hoooo... they have graduated!
